Baked Cheese Swirls
The perfect mix of flaky, crunchy, and cheesy goodness.
INGREDIENTS
1 (13.2-oz.) pkg. Jus-Rol™ Puff Pastry
2 Tbsp. hot honey or regular honey, plus more for garnish
1 (5.3-oz.) pkg. spreadable gourmet cheese, crumbled (about 1 1/4 cups)
1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
1 Tbsp. fresh thyme leaves, plus more for garnish
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. heavy whipping cream
STEPS
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Unroll puff pastry on a cutting board. Drizzle pastry evenly with honey. Sprinkle evenly with cheese, walnuts, thyme, salt, and pepper. Beginning on 1 of the long sides, gently roll pastry into a log. Cut log in half lengthwise. Working with 1 piece at a time, cut side-up, loosely twist pastry to create a coil shape, tucking end under coil to secure. Repeat process with remaining pieces of pastry. Brush pastry with cream. Place swirls with included parchment paper on a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven until puffed and deep golden brown, about 45 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Garnish with additional honey and thyme. Serve warm.
