with Green Onions & Parsley
This white pizza is fresh and light, and a great way to introduce fish on pizza.
1 pkg. Round & Thin Pizza Crust
1 cup white sauce
4-6 oz. salmon filet, grilled
3 Tbsp. capers
1/4 cup green onions, chopped with tops
3 Tbsp. fresh parsley + more for garnish
8 oz. shredded Italian cheese mix
White Sauce:
2 cups whole milk ricotta
3 Tbsp. Mascarpone
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
3 cloves garlic, minced
2-3 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Freshly grated nutmeg
STEPS
-
Preheat oven to 425°F.
-
For the white sauce: stir together all sauce ingredients. Note: it is more flavorful to make the sauce one day in advance and store in the refrigerator.
-
Unroll refrigerated Round & Thin Pizza Crust on enclosed parchment paper and place on a baking sheet. Spread 1 cup of white sauce over pizza.
-
Pull salmon filet into small pieces and scatter over sauce. Spread out capers and green onions and evenly spread the 3 Tbsp. of parsley. Finally, spread the cheese over the top.
-
Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned. Garnish with fresh parsley.
