2 sheets JusRol puff pastry
1 egg (for egg wash)
2 cups cheese (Parmesan or Cheddar of a mix)

Steps

  1. Preheat & prep:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Whisk the egg with 1 tablespoon of water to make an egg wash.
  2. Mix cheese:
    • In a small bowl, combine all grated cheeses.
  3. Layer pastry with cheese:
    • Lightly flour or sprinkle ¼ of the cheese mixture onto your work surface.
    • Brush one side of a puff pastry sheet with egg wash.
    • Place the puff pastry egg-side down on the cheesy surface.
  4. Roll out:
    • Brush the top of the puff pastry with egg wash.
    • Sprinkle another ¼ of the cheese mixture evenly on top.
    • Roll out the pastry to about ¼-inch thick.
  5. Cut & twist:
    • Slice the sheet into strips, about 10 strips, each 1 inch wide.
    • Twist each strip and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Repeat:
    • Repeat steps 3–5 with the second puff pastry sheet and remaining cheese.
  7. Bake:
    • Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
    • Cool slightly before serving.
